KNIGHT TESTED · 38 DAYS · NO FAVORS ·

Every product gets 30 days in a real house. Then we take it away for a week and see who asks for it back.

  • Day 0 The Oath
  • Days 1–7 The Bench
  • Days 1–30 Daily Life
  • Days 31–37 The Take-Away
  • Day 38 The Round Table

Verdicts only. How we use your email.

The Trial

Same 38 days for everything

A $30 charger and a $3,000 rower run the same stages. We measure what we can, publish the numbers, and seal the verdict before any brand sees it.

Day 0

The Oath

We write down where it came from, what it costs, and the 3 to 5 promises the brand makes. Those promises become the test.

Days 1–7

The Bench

We measure everything that can be measured, against a rubric written before the first test.

Days 1–30

Daily Life

It goes into the real routine of a real house. We log every day it gets used and everything that goes wrong.

Days 31–37

The Take-Away

It goes in a box for a week. We watch who asks for it back.

Day 38

The Round Table

Everyone who used it answers two questions: did you want it back, and would you pay full price? The verdict is sealed.

Days 90 & 365

The Return

Knighted products get checked again. One that fails loses its title in public.

Verdicts

Three ways out

Knighted

It earned its place. Buy it.

80 or more, and someone wanted it back

Spared

Good for some people. We’ll tell you which.

55 to 79, and someone wanted it back

Banished

Skip it.

Under 55, nobody wanted it back, or a safety promise failed

Titles can be lost. A Knighted product that fails at Day 90 or Day 365 is Stripped, and the record shows it.

The Tally

100 points, set in advance

The formula is public and the same for every product. Nobody gets to round up because they liked it.

30 points

Claims

Did it keep the promises the brand made?

30 points

Bench

How did it measure against the rubric?

25 points

Daily Life

Did it actually get used, and what broke?

15 points

The Miss

Who wanted it back after a week without it?

The Roll of Arms

Eight houses, one Trial

Everything we test belongs to a house. Each one asks the question a spec sheet can’t answer.

The record

Every verdict shows its work

Each Trial publishes a record like this one, with the raw numbers behind the score.

The Code

What we won’t do

I

No brand can pay for a Trial or a verdict.

II

No brand sees a verdict before it’s sealed. Brands get a right of reply, printed in full beside it.

III

We say where every product came from, out loud and on screen, in every video: bought with our own money, or provided by the brand.

IV

Failures get published. A product that goes badly doesn’t quietly disappear.

V

Commission links are marked “paid link” and never touch a verdict. Banished products never get one.

VI

We don’t review anything we sell or own a stake in.

VII

Everything you see is real. An AI crew helps with the schedule, the paperwork and first drafts. It never tests a product, scores it or votes, and no product footage is AI-generated.

VIII

Our youngest testers are heard and not seen. You get their hands and voices, never their faces or names.

For brands

Send a product, or don’t

We buy most of what we test. If you send something, we’ll say so on screen. We can’t promise coverage or a good result, and you can’t pay for either. What you get is the same Trial as everyone else and a right of reply.
